When I first took up the study of Christian Science I was healed of eczema on my face. It had appeared and disappeared for years. After I took up the study of Christian Science someone spoke to me about this trouble, seeing it on my face. This lady suggested a material remedy, and as I was very new in Science, the suggestion came to remember this remedy and in case of failure in Christian Science I might use it. As I learned afterward, I was not healed with this error in thought. I bought the remedy, but after bringing it home realized that I could not use material remedies and be a Christian Scientist. So I threw it out and was mentally healed at the time. It took about three months before the healing was fully manifested, but I had lost all fear and was finally completely healed.

I was healed of bleeding piles of years' standing. This healing was slow, as I had so much fear and pain. I was also instantaneously healed of sciatic rheumatism when quite a young student. I was instantly healed, too, of a stroke of paralysis. I seemed to be helpless in my lower limbs. After reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy all through the night, I was completely healed by morning of all except the fear. For this I saw a practitioner, and she told me to handle it as an evil suggestion. I worked to the best of my understanding and was healed of this fear. I was also healed of rheumatism through the help of a practitioner when my hip was drawn out of shape for about four weeks. A sore appeared on my body and later left a lump, but this, too, was healed through the understanding of Christian Science. At another time I was healed of stoppage of circulation of the blood in my feet, with all the symptoms of decomposition, through reading the Bible and Science and Health.

Christian Science has helped me to demonstrate harmony in my home; it has helped me in business; and it has given me a God who is logical and understandable. For all these blessings I am very thankful to all who are living the life of Christian Science, and especially am I thankful to the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy.—(Mrs.) Marie E.
