Lecturer: Frank Bell; introduced by Carl E. Parsons, who said:—

The Old and New Testaments are replete with promises that man is to be delivered from sin, disease, and death. For many centuries mankind refused to believe this, and it remained for a devout and sincere New England woman, Mary Baker Eddy, to rediscover, in the year 1866, spiritual healing, as practiced in the early Christian church, and to prove that the promises of the Bible are fulfilled. In her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy has reduced Christianity to a Science and has made this Science practical. That Christian Science is practical is attested by the many authentic healing that are taking place every day all over the world by its application.
