About thirteen years ago I became a student in the Christian Science Sunday School, and the replacement of erroneous thinking with the true knowledge of Life, of God and His idea, man, as taught in the Sunday school, has enabled me to overcome and dispense with a sense of nerves and its accompanying disorders. For this unfolding of the Christ in consciousness I cannot possibly express sufficient gratitude.

During the war, when I was called upon for active service, this divine Comforter, Christian Science, was ever present to guide, guard, cherish, and protect my every step, in accordance with its glorious promise. Through the continued study of its teachings comes hourly the regenerating of thought, the awakening to the true understanding and realization of God and His universe, which is enabling me to express in fuller measure my duty to see the perfect man of God's creating, and to prove by living that I am indeed truly grateful for the healing efficacy of Christian Science, mental, moral, and physical. For being able to partake in the joyous activities of church membership, both with The Mother Church and with a branch church, I am exceedingly grateful, and also to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her deep, unselfed love in giving to a waiting world the truth, which is daily demonstrating its practicality to those who are unswervingly fulfilling its demands.—Frederick W. Quarmby, Ovenden, Halifax, Yorkshire, England.
