I wish to bear witness to my healing through Christian Science. I Suffered with a fistula for five years. Before turning to Christian Science for healing I was under the care of a physician, who is considered a good specialist, for three years. Instead of getting better I grew worse, and was scarcely able to get about. Due to great suffering it was with difficulty that I went to my work. My mother was interested in Christian Science. I knew she was a faithful follower of Mrs. Eddy's most precious teaching. I turned to God unresevedly for help. I knew there was a healing balm for suffering humanity, and I found it in Christian Science. I asked for Christian Science treatment. My healing seemed slow, but during this time I was gradually climbing the ladder of spiritual understanding. It was like unto a refining process in which the dross is separated from the gold, the dross fading into nothingness and leaving nothing but the pure gold of God's love. My wife and I are most grateful to God for His loving and protecting care and healing power; grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the revelation of Christian Science which has enabled us to better understand the Bible and better understand God, and grateful to the Christian Science practitioner for his patient and loving help during this trying time.
