I have waited long for some big demonstration to record, but toward the close of a three months' vacation of rest and study in the mountains, I am led to recount the blessings which Christian Science has already brought to me.

My first thought is one of gratitude for the Christian Science Sunday School, which I attended when about six years of age in Chicago. A few years later my family dropped the study of Christian Science and I was taken out of Sunday school; but the seed had been sown. Ten years passed, and one day I was taken with a very severe pain in my head. As I did not get relief, our family physician was called; but in spite of his earnest help the pain grew worse, and I was obliged to leave school. I was examined thoroughly by another physician, who found every organ sound and could not diagnose the trouble. After a month or two of weakness and weariness from pain, I found myself repeating the "scientific statement of being," as given on page 468 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the definition of "angels" on page 581 of this same book; both of these I had learned in the Christian Science Sunday School.

I then said to my mother, "I am going to try Christian Science." A practitioner was called, and treatments were begun. As I did not seem to improve, I had my eyes examined and was told I should always wear glasses. I got a pair, wore them for a day, and awoke the next morning free from pain. I was delighted; but the next day the pain returned with triple force.
