About eight years ago I became interested in Christian Science through reading a copy of the Christian Science Sentinel that was given me. I then wanted to know how Christian Science healed, and what it really was. I borrowed "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy from a public library, and began reading it. Before finishing the book I was healed of the need of wearning glasses, which I had worn for ten years, not being able to leave them off without severe headaches. During that same reading my son was healed of tonsillitis. Since that time we have had many healings, having depended entirely on Christian Science. Mumps, measles, grippe, influenza, have all been quickly healed. One healing of my little son, who crushed his wrist between his sled and a tree, proved to me that God can heal every discordant condition. The wrist was never bandaged!

I have been greatly benefited and helped by Christian Science. After the birth of my youngest son I did not walk for three months. After asking for Christian Science help, in two weeks I took a journey by boat from Buffalo to Cleveland.

I am very grateful for the privilege of being able to send my two sons to the Christian Science Sunday School; for the periodicals; for The Christian Science Benevolent Association; for the loving help given by the practitioners at all times; for the spiritual understanding I have gained through the study of Christian Science, which has enabled me in a small way to demonstrate the healing truth; and for our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who gave us this satisfying, demonstrable religion.—
