For many years I have been a student of Christian Science, and I desire to express my gratitude for the many blessings received during this time. About eight years ago my eyesight became impaired, and it seemed advisable to wear glasses; so for five months I did this, but found that I could see no better with glasses than without them. During this time the glasses were adjusted several times; but no benefit resulted. We read on page 581 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, that angels are "God's thoughts passing to man; spiritual intuitions, pure and perfect;" and so one day while I was working at my desk and finding that I could not see to write, either with the glasses or without them, one of these divine messages came to me. I immediately removed the glasses, and found that I was healed.

I am deeply grateful also to the Christian Science friends who have so patiently and lovingly helped me all along the way. To God, to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who through her wonderful textbook has explained the Bible spiritually, showing it indeed to be "our sufficient guide to eternal Life" (Science and Health, p. 497), I am very thankful.
