Keokuk Daily Gate City

Keokuk, Iowa (First Church).—Opening services in the new First Church of Christ, Scientist, at 616 High Street, were held recently. The rebuilding of the church has just been completed. The new edifice covers forty-five feet by sixty-five feet ground space. The outside walls are finished in Oriental stucco with old ivory trimmings. The seating in the main auditorium is with opera chairs, and an ample coat room is provided downstairs. The building is modern in all of its details and presents an attractive appearance both inside and out.—Keokuk Daily Gate City.
