We have come to listen to the message of Christian Science, which is indeed good tidings of good things. "Good is my God, and my God is good," writes Mrs. Eddy on page 206 of "Miscellaneous Writings," and many of us are proving day by day what it means in practice to acknowledge none other but this one God, good. This understanding rules out fear, our worst enemy, and every kind of discord, such as sorrow, despair, and sickness. In the words of the Psalmist, "The Lord is my light and my salvation: whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?"
