For about ten years Christian Science has been my only physician. Through the understanding of Christian Science gained by reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and our Leader's other writings, many inharmonious conditions have been overcome. I have been healed of neuritis, headaches, grippe, stomach trouble, burns; and glasses were discontinued after being worn for over fourteen years. The last healing was accomplished solely by reading the textbook. Whereas formerly I had worn two pairs of glasses, one pair for close work and another pair for the street, now I am able to use my eyes constantly and read far into the night without any. Christian Science is a constant help each day, not only in healing physical conditions but in correcting the wrong concepts of God, of man, and of our relation to Him and to each other; and I am most grateful.

I am also grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, and for their activities; for class instruction by a loyal Christian Scientist; and for the army of practitioners who are faithfully using these teachings for the uplifting and healing of mankind. I am grateful for the Lesson-Sermons, and for the periodicals which come to us with healing in their pages, including The Christian Science Monitor, where we can find the truly constructive news of the day from all parts of the world. I am grateful for the life and works of Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
