Full of sincere gratitude for God's great love and goodness, I wish to give the following testimony of a wonderful healing which I experienced in Christian Science.

A few years ago I met with a serious accident when the flame caused by an explosion in a stove was driven into my face. My face was terribly burned, and so swollen that my eyes were hardly visible; and the pain was very severe. Through reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I had gained a slight understanding of the teachings of Christian Science, and thought I could overcome this difficulty myself. But as the pain grew worse I asked a practitioner for help, which was at once lovingly given. The pain lessened immediately, and in one week I had recovered to such an extent that new skin had grown and there was no sign of a scar. I recognized anew that he "who trusts in the Almighty, has not built upon the sand." Since that time I have been able to overcome several errors myself.
