Gratitude to God, to our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, as well as to Mrs. Eddy and the kind practitioner who so lovingly assisted me in finding the way to Truth, Life, and Love, prompts me to give this testimony. When I first heard of Christian Science I was sick and miserable. I had been suffering for some time from general weakness of the heart and nerves, a sinking of the stomach, and other complaints. After reading several Herolds, I saw that in Christian Science is the understanding of life. Upon the advice of the practitioner to whom I had turned on account of our son, I bought the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and studied it earnestly. As my understanding of this Science grew, I overcame one complaint after another; and to-day a strength and health I had never before known is apparent.

Our son, who had suffered from an inguinal rupture since childhood, was freed from this with the help of a practitioner; and my husband, who is also studying Christian Science, with the help of the same practitioner was healed in one week of a severe case of erysipelas. We have also overcome many difficulties of daily life through our understanding of Christian Science. We are sincerely grateful to God that He, through Mrs. Eddy, gave us this wonderful textbook, which has made us love and value the Scriptures.
