Letters from the Field

"I had the privilege of staying in the sanatorium of The Christian Science Benevolent Association after an automobile accident at a time when I felt I needed to get away from the anxiety of my many friends; and it proved a haven of rest and safety, where I was surrounded by the helpful thoughts which Christian Scientists know and love so well. A few weeks there gave me new courage and strength to go out and take my place once more in the world; and the improvement I could see in those around me, who were there to be helped both physically and mentally, was a joy, and most reassuring to one depending on Christian Science. I wish to speak also of the loving attention given by every one connected with the sanatorium.

"(Mrs.) Hattie G. Stockton, Santa Barbara, California."

"Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for having been privileged to be a guest at our Christian Science sanatorium. The peace manifested there makes it a true haven of rest. The love and Christian spirit reflected, by associates and guests alike, can best be understood and appreciated by those who share in it.
