Lecturer: Gavin W. Allan; introduced by John R. McLeod, who said:—

I, with many others in every quarter of the globe, can bear witness to the healing and regenerative power of Truth as understood in the light which Mrs. Eddy's writings have shed on the Bible. Not many years ago my life was far from satisfactory. Nevertheless, I was unable to make any permanent change for the better; but through a dear friend Christian Science was lovingly brought to my attention, so that to-day I can in some measure say with the Psalmist, "He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings." What I have experienced in healing and regeneration is equally available to all.
