For many years, through a sense that my experience would not be helpful or interesting to others, I have failed to send my testimony for publication. I now see clearly that this was a mistaken sense. A testimony is the natural result of blessings received, and must, of necessity, be expressed. It bears witness to God's goodness to the individual, and blesses the sender and others through its expression.

Some sixteen years ago I was healed of a stubborn organic trouble and its attendant ills through Christian Science. I had tried various material remedies and mechanical means. This healing was quickly accomplished, and has been permanent. This, of course, was cause for much thankfulness, as the need was great; but I did not then realize how much greater was the need for the healing of stubborn thinking.

First came the study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and other authorized Christian Science literature, and soon church attendance. After this came the realization of how much there was to be accomplished in thought. The great fact of the perfection of God and man began to appear, letting in the light of Truth. The process of salvation had begun, and is going on slowly but surely.
