A number of years ago, I had hay fever so severely that we were planning to move to another climate when some Christian Science literature was given me. The first summer the hay fever was so much lighter, through just reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, that it did not occur to me to ask a practitioner for help. After the third summer it had vanished entirely. Since then there have been many healings in my family. Christian Science has been a great comfort in rearing the children, with their numberless problems.

Previous to my first healing, I had been an active church worker and enjoyed the study of the Bible. Not until this reading and healing, however, did I find the truth that is constantly with me to help in sorrow, sickness, and trouble of all kinds and in all places. Jesus proved that "every law of matter or the body, supposed to govern man, is rendered null and void by the law of Life, God" (Science and Health, pp. 380, 381), and I am learning and proving this way step by step. I am more grateful than I can say, and want to prove it by my daily deeds.
