It is now nearly thirty years since I first heard of Christian Science. During that time it has been my only help in every time of need. I first took up the study of Christian Science, not for physical healing, but to satisfy a longing for something better than the creed I had been taught to believe. The spiritual uplift which has come to me through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy is a great blessing.

During these years my family and I have been healed of many ailments without the use of drugs. I have been healed of stomach trouble; and a sense of fear has been overcome through the use of Christian Science. I have also seen many others healed through the understanding of Love's ever-presence and power.

The Daily Prayer given in the Church Manual (p. 41) is a great blessing to us. I am grateful that my husband and our two sons have the privilege of membership in The Mother Church. I am also grateful for the Christian Science periodicals, and grateful to those who have been a help to me along the way. I am especially grateful to Mrs. Eddy for bringing this truth to the world, for I have thereby learned that God is Love.—(Mrs.) Mary L. Eckey, Mount Union, Iowa.
