God is Our Help

"There is no power apart from God;"*
His love is over all.
His truth will guide our every step,
If we but heed its call.

There are no clouds to hide His face
From them that dwell in Love;
And every ill will melt away
In sunshine from above.

When darkness tries to hide the light,
And fear and doubt hold sway,
We only need a firmer faith
To change the night to day.

So let us know that God is All,
That evil has no power,
His love reflect, His truth obey
In each and every hour.
