According to a news item in to-day's Capital, under the caption, "Recognize Mental Healing," it would seem that the Associated Press report of the convention of American rabbis has inadvertently confused Christian Science healing with mental suggestion. Christian Science was discovered in the year 1866 by Mary Baker Eddy. It reveals the healing power of divine Love, which could not be imparted through suggestion; while mental suggestion, being the product of false human mentality, is the exercise of one human mind over another. Such suggested thought may be harmful to the individual, while Christian Science imparts only spiritual good, proving it to be a product of God.
