Twelve years ago I turned to Christian Science for physical healing. I had been ill for eight years with internal trouble. Physicians finally told me that I could never be well, but if I were to remain flat on my back for a year I might find relief. As a last hope, I turned to Christian Science. After seven months' study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was completely healed. I had worn glasses during these eight years, using two pairs for reading, as oculists thought it impossible to make a lens strong enough for me. The glasses were laid aside after two months' study of Christian Science.
I am grateful for the physical healing—it means much; but I am far more grateful for the spiritual understanding that I am daily gaining, the understanding of God's law, which, when rightly applied, solves every problem. I am also deeply grateful for class instruction, and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. Through the many opportunities for service afforded a member of a Christian Science church. I am learning the priceless value of humility and obedience.
