For over fifteen years I had suffered intensely with internal trouble. After trying many different remedies and different doctors I became discouraged, as I was growing worse all the time. Some of my relatives abvised my having an operation; but as three of them had been operated on and were worse than I was, I would not consent to it. Then a kind friend persuaded me to try Christian Science. Through the loving help of a practitioner I was healed at once, and have enjoyed good health ever since that time, which was in January, 1914.

Many other wonderful healings have been brought about through the study of Christian Science. After a vain search of forty years for the truth, a new world has been opened to me. I now can love God, who is Love, and understand in a measure the all-power of good. I am truly thankful to God for all the blessings of His love, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her loving patience in giving us "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" This book has opened up to me the Bible, which before had seemed full of contradictions. I am grateful for the Christian Science literature, which brings me help and comfort. I am thankful to know something of this new-old religion, and am striving for help and guidance to gain a deeper and better understanding, that I may merit greater blessings and be enabled to help others as well as myself.
