The Lectures
Berne, Switzerland (First Church).
Lecturer: Algeernon Hervey Bathurst; introduced by Mrs. Lina Kreil-Maeder, who said:—
How often I have thought of the words of Christ Jesus, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest," when suffering with a chronic illness, and in spite of the best of medical care obtaining no healing. In this condition Christian Science found me. The living presence of the Christ, Truth, was revealed to me, in conformity with another promise of the Master: "Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world;" and I was healed. I am deeply grateful to know that this realization of the presence of the Christ through Christian Science is for all, at all times, and in all circumstances.
