It is over thirteen years since Christian Science was first brought to my notice, and I esteem it a privilege to have, through the columns of the Christian Science Sentinel, the opportunity of expressing my sincere gratitude for the many blessings I have received through the revelation of Truth as given to the world in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

I began the study with a faint hope of finding the physical healing which I greatly needed. I had been suffering for several months from a very severe digestive trouble. Medicine and careful adherence to medical advice had failed to cure me; and I was almost ready to believe that there was nothing left for me. At this time a friend told me of a remarkable case of healing she had experienced through Christian Science, and advised me to get a copy of the textbook. In ten days I was completely healed just through reading this book. Since that time I have experienced and witnessed many healing in Christian Science; but while I am grateful for them all, they are not to be compared to the higher, larger, richer blessings which have followed the acceptance and application of the truth. The Bible has become a new book since I have been applying the teachings of Christian Science.

When my mother passed on Christian Science was indeed the Comforter, revealing death as the shadow and Life as the reality.
