Nine years ago, Christian Science healed me of a serious stomach and bowel trouble of many years' standing. I had been on a very strict diet, and the help of physicians and specialists brought no beneficial results. After the first treatment in Science I ate a very hearty meal with no bad effects, and since then have eaten everything I have desired.

My daughter, when sixteen years of age, accidentally slammed a heavy door on her finger. To get the finger out, she had to open the door. An hour afterwards she had a thimble on that finger, sewing. My younger daughter ran the machine needle through her finger, making two holes. About three hours later, the finger was perfectly normal. I knew nothing of these two accidents until after they had made their demonstrations through Christian Science.

Last fall the family—my husband, our two daughters, and I—took an automobile trip. On account of some gravel in the road, our car skidded and crashed into a passing machine. My elder daughter, who was driving, was crushed against the streeing wheel. I was thrown, through the side window, cutting a large hole in my forehead. My injury did not pain me or cause any inconvenience, and is now nicely healed. My elder daughter was so seriously hurt internally that she had to be carried to a hotel, and after being put to bed could not move without sever pain. Her arm was bent and could not be straightened out. We called for a practitioner that evening, and the next afternoon she was out of bed and had dinner with the family. The next morning I was able to take her home on the train, my husband and our other daughter being detained until the car was repaired. Within a week, my daughter was entirely healed. She told us later that had it not been for the understanding of Science she had it in the Christian Science Sunday School, she thinks she would have passed on at the time of the accident. She stated she could not breathe, and error told her she was going to die; but suddenly her consciousness was illumined with the thought that God was her Life, and immediately she was able to breathe again.
