As many others have done, I turned to Christian Science after long years of suffering, during which I did not receive any relief from medicine and other treatments. I had lost all faith in the power of medical doctors, so was ready to receive the Word of God, which is the only healer. Within two weeks I was completely healed of stomach disorder, night sweats, throat trouble, headaches, and backache. A bad temper did not give up quite so easily, but it finally yielded. For my physical healing I am very grateful, but I am more thankful for the spiritual uplift. The Word of God has never failed us. I am very thankful to Christ Jesus and to Mrs. Eddy for showing us the way out of sin, disease, and death.
