Christian Science was brought to my attention about twenty-five years ago through a wonderful healing in our family, so I had great faith in it from the beginning. I myself was healed instantaneously of periodical hay fever soon after this while reading a Christian Science Sentinel, and this healing has been permanent. I have also been healed of eczema, which was very bad on my hands, covering the entire palms and inside of the fingers, which were raw and bleeding. I had treatments from a Christian Science practitioner for about two weeks for this, and it entirely disappeared and has never troubled me since.

Five years ago I had an experience with boils. The first one was on the hip, and the entire limb became swollen and very much inflamed and sore. I asked for treatment and in less than an hour the pain left, although the boil did not suppurate for twenty-four hours, proving that I did not need to wait for it to break before I could be better. There were about seven boils at intervals of several weeks, until finally I could see that the whole condition was just a temptation of evil trying to make me believe that there was a power apart from God. With the error uncovered in this way I was immediately healed of a boil that was about ready to head; and I have never been troubled with any since.

There have been many other healings, but I am most grateful for the help Christian Science has been to me in overcoming resentment, jealousy, fear, and hate. I feel that we owe so much to Mrs. Eddy for her faithfulness and obedience in establishing the Christian Science church. I am also grateful for "The Life of Mary Baker Eddy" by Sibyl Wilbur, which helps us to realize the vastness and greatness of our Leader's work. I am very grateful for the Christian Science lectures, and for all who are helping in this wonderful work of love.
