When Christian Science was brought into our home I was inclined to doubt; but after my sister had been healed of double curvature of the spine, heart disease, and tuberculosis of the stomach, I began to study it. I had been wearing glasses; and one day, while I was sewing, my eyes began to ache. The thought came to me to take off the glasses. I did so, and found my eyes entirely healed.

I am now married, and the mother of two baby boys; and I have found Christian Science to be the greatest blessing of our lives. My husband was healed of a bad case of blood poisoning. One of our boys, when one week old, seemed to be constipated. Error fought very hard, but through the faithful work of a Christian Science practitioner he was healed, without any suffering, in about four weeks. As a mother I am deeply grateful to divine Love for help during childbirth and since. It has given me strength and courage to do all my own work with the help my husband can give me.

Fear has been destroyed, and wants supplied when work has seemed to be scarce. God's work is done; and we each have to work out our own salvation,—that is, to live in accordance with every true thought found by studying daily and knowing that there is a place and a position for everybody, so that when we find this place we shall be prepared to fill it, and do our work scientifically, with our hearts full of love and gratitude.
