Among the Churches

Current Notes

Bend, Ore . (First Church).—Special services marking the dedication of First Church of Christ, Scientist, have recently been held, with a large number of local people in attendance. The building was free of all indebtedness when formal dedication was made. The church structure is of the bungalow type, finished in white stucco. The growth of the Christian Science organization here has been a steady one, and by January, 1923, the society had become large enough to be recognized as a church, becoming First Church of Christ, Scientist, a branch of The Mother Church in Boston, Massachusetts.—The Bend Bulletin.
