Signs of the Times

Choosing as his text the words, "Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal," Dr. Soares pointed out that a man's worth could not be measured by his material wealth, but only in terms of his character and his influence for good in the community. He declared that the wealthiest personality the world had ever known was the poor Carpenter of Nazareth.
