I am happy to be a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church, and for the privilege of having always attended the Christian Science Sunday School. Christian Science has meant everything to me,—has been my constant guide and counselor. Each time, when the truths of the statements given in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, our beloved Leader, have been realized and rightly applied, my needs, whether physical, mental, or financial, have been quickly and effectively met. Having all my life known only the Christian Science religion, and having relied upon its teachings implicitly, I experienced practically none of the ills which seem to be common among children. I do remember a slight attack of chicken pox and of whooping cough; but these were very quickly overcome through Christian Science treatment.

Some time ago I was seized with severe pain. I did not know what it might be, but was afterwards told it was indigestion. I seemed to be suffering badly; and as I was alone in the house at the time, I became frightened and called a Christian Science practitioner on the telephone. I was promptly told there was nothing to fear. After many declarations of the truth I left the telephone, and in five minutes, or thereabouts, I was asleep, with not a trace of the pain remaining.

During this past year I have had many occasions upon which to prove the truth of the teachings of Christian Science. For several months I suffered from nervous trouble brought on through worry and anxiety. The difficulty seemed tenacious; and it took faithful work, both on my own part and on the part of the loving practitioner who helped me, to obtain the mastery over it.
