Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication for the Year Ended September 30, 1923

For the District of Columbia.

The increasing number of lectures and writings on the subject of psychology, Couéism, psychoanalysis, and kindred topics has necessitated extreme watchfulness on the part of the Committee on Publication during the past year. The erroneous statements with regard to Christian Science made by these lecturers, which have found their way into the local newspapers, have been quite numerous. All have been answered; and it is gratifying to state that in every instance the replies have been published. It is also gratifying to report that during the latter half of the year, the newspapers have refrained almost entirely from publishing statements about Christian Science made by those unfamiliar with the subject.
