Christian Science accepts the teachings of Christ Jesus, is purely spiritual in its teachings, and does not subscribe to any materialistic theories or Scriptural misconceptions. By its spiritual interpretation of both the Old and the New Testament of the Bible, Christian Science eliminates the contradictions, ambiguities, and confusion caused by material interpretations, and reveals the unchangeable law of God and His spiritual Messiah as taught by Moses and the prophets and demonstrated by Christ Jesus. The major portion of the sick who have turned to Christian Science for healing are those who had been declared incurable under medical treatment, but who accepted Christian Science treatment as a last resort, and were healed. This has occurred not only in a few cases, but in countless thousands of cases; and these people now bear grateful testimony to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science.

Christian Science is wholly spiritual in its practice, and does not in any way use or depend upon human will. Healing by Christian Science is accomplished by the understanding of the same Principle as was used by men of God, as recorded in the Old Testament, and as taught and demonstrated by Christ Jesus in the New Testament. This healing is the natural result of the prayer of spiritual understanding, bringing to consciousness man's real spiritual relationship to God.
