The Real and the Unreal

The student of Christian Science is early impressed with the clear and positive distinction that is shown to exist between the real and the unreal.

The Value of Patience

It may seem to the majority of men that patience is such an unimportant characteristic as not to require serious thought or attention.
Although to-day there is apparent to human view a world submerged in conflict and strife, presenting the belief of many ruling minds at war with each other, yet it is true that this condition of unrest and turmoil is not peculiar to the age in which we live, but has prevailed throughout the ages.

"Go forward"

It has been said by some incredulous ones that the Christideal of Christian Science is too high to be attained here on earth.

"The ripening of mortal man"

The five physical senses bear no reliable testimony respecting the realities of existence, but deal solely with the illusory phenomena of so-called mortal mind.

Beauty

Beauty is omnipresent for those who have eyes to see it, because the real universe is spiritual and perfect.

In a Garden—Purity!

It was one of those delightful days, warm with the soft moistness between showers.

Onward!

He healed the sick, the hungry fed;He stilled the tempest, raised the dead—Faced evil's vengeance, calm and brave;Nor tried at last himself to save,—Because he knew!

Christian Science came to me about ten years ago.
In the summer of 1917, about a week after our National Guard Unit was called out, I was taken with a severe cold.
I want to express my gratitude for all the blessings I have received through the study of Christian Science.
In a recent Sentinel there was an article "Go and Tell Thy Friends," which encourages me to give my testimony of an experience I had a few weeks ago, of the dear heavenly Father's wonderful protection of His children.
It is now eleven years since I first heard of Christian Science, and during that time I have turned to Science upon all occasions when I have needed help in one way or another.
While realizing that, as we are told on <a class="tome-reference" href="https://login.
I am happy to be a member of The Mother Church and of a branch church, and for the privilege of having always attended the Christian Science Sunday School.
With a glad and grateful heart I wish to testify to the blessings which we have received through Christian Science.
About six years ago I became interested in Christian Science through reading the Sentinel; and since that time this healing truth has been my only physician.

The Dawn of Truth

The way seemed dark; I could not seeThe light that on my pathway shone,For fear and doubt encompassed me:To mortal sense I walked alone.
