The
student of Christian Science is early impressed with the clear and positive distinction that is shown to exist between the real and the unreal.
It
may seem to the majority of men that patience is such an unimportant characteristic as not to require serious thought or attention.
Although
to-day there is apparent to human view a world submerged in conflict and strife, presenting the belief of many ruling minds at war with each other, yet it is true that this condition of unrest and turmoil is not peculiar to the age in which we live, but has prevailed throughout the ages.
It
has been said by some incredulous ones that the Christideal of Christian Science is too high to be attained here on earth.
The
five physical senses bear no reliable testimony respecting the realities of existence, but deal solely with the illusory phenomena of so-called mortal mind.

was one of those delightful days, warm with the soft moistness between showers.
In a recent issue of your paper, a pastor in commenting upon Christian Science is liberal enough in his view to give Christian Science credit for its healing power.

teachings explicitly emphasize the need among men for firm and unchanging faith in God, the need to trust Him under all conditions, always and implicitly.

men acknowledge that true contentment is a virtue they would like to possess, but how to attain it has not always been plain to them.

To insure that complete lecture notices be printed in the Sentinel, detailed information should reach the Board of Lectureship regarding lectures in the United States and Canada, four weeks before the date of the lecture; in Great Britain and Ireland, five weeks before; in other European countries, six weeks before.
