The Lectures

High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England (Society).—Introducing Judge Samuel W. Greene, a Christian Science lecturer, to his audience, Viscountess Astor, M. P., spoke as follows:—

Nine years ago I was told by the best doctors in London that I never again should be able to lead a normal life. I was given the hope that if I lived very carefully as an invalid for about seven years, I might then have strength to lead a sort of seminormal life if I rested a great deal. I then heard of Christian Science and was healed entirely. I was further healed of a belief in a limited God, who sent sickness and death, and allowed strife and hatred between men and nations.
