With a grateful heart I wish to testify to the beautiful healing which my twelve-year-old son has received through Christian Science. The boy was suffering from a severe attack of diphtheria and bronchitis. He was short of breath when we asked a dear practitioner for help, but was relieved of this difficulty immediately. After this illness both his legs became paralyzed. He could hardly move about. All material efforts, such as massage and electric treatment, which we applied for a few weeks, were of no avail. When we gave up all material aids, however, and relied unreservedly on Christian Science, he improved daily; and in a short time he was entirely healed. The beneficent influence of Christian Science was also noticeable in the child's school work. In spite of an absence from school of three months, he passed his examination with a very good mark.

We cannot be too grateful for the blessings which God has sent us in these and other instances through Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Lucie Meyn, Klevendeich nr. Uetersen, Germany.
