I should like to express my gratitude for what Christian Science...
I should like to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. A few years ago I had a very severe attack of rheumatism. After I had been told by physicians they could do no more for me, a friend advised me to try Christian Science; so I called a practitioner. After taking a few treatments I became so much worse that I was confined to bed, not being able to move even a hand without help. This seemed very discouraging to the loved ones around me, but I never felt downhearted. The healing was rapid, as I had treatment for only five weeks; whereas, previously, I had been under the physician's care for months.
I also wish to tell of a healing I had three years ago. A growth came on my finger, which bothered me a great deal. I was away visiting during the time, and a physician was attending a young child at the home. My friends asked me one morning, while the doctor was there, to show him my finger. After looking at it he said, "I think you had better have that finger attended to at once, or you may have to have it removed." I knew at once I needed to have more work done for myself in Christian Science. After a second treatment the finger started to bleed, doing so for a couple of hours. After that it gave me no more trouble. I am indeed very grateful.—(Mrs.) Nettie M. Black, Fargo, N. Dak.
