I feel very grateful for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. It is now about seventeen years since I first attended the Christian Science church. I was then healed of internal weakness by attending the services and reading the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, without having any treatments. Later, I was healed of a very severe case of rheumatism, and I have never had a return of either of these troubles.

I also wish to tell of the healing of our son, which took place about twelve years ago. It was a very bad case of rupture; and two doctors told me that nothing but an operation could save him. This operation was not necessary, however, as he was healed by Christian Science treatment. He is now fourteen years of age, a very strong, healthy boy. A short time ago he came home from playing a game of ball with what seemed to be a badly sprained ankle. This happened on Friday night. On Saturday, about noon, he said to me, "I wish I could put on my boots and go out;" and I said, "You can do anything that is right for you to do." He put on his boots at once and went out, walked quite a lot that night, went to Sunday school next morning, and did much walking that day. On Monday night he played ball again, and did not suffer any more from that trouble.

For these and many more blessings I am truly grateful.
