Through love and gratitude for Christian Science I wish to testify to the innumerable blessings it has brought to me. Eight years ago, I was advised to go through an operation for the removal of a tuberculous kidney, but to this operation I was firmly opposed, even though I knew it would do no good to go to other physicians, for all had the same thought in regard to this malady. Nevertheless, during four years I tried many material remedies, but with slight relief. It was at that time that Christian Science was mentioned to me. A few months later I went to a practitioner; and I came out of her home experiencing great benefit. I always found comfort when I went to her, and returned to my home with great hopes. To-day I am happy to know that God has accomplished my perfect healing. I had other healings, among them that of eczema, which appeared every winter. The healing took place in such a manner that I did not notice it right away. I also had a very delicate throat, and every winter I lost my voice for a day or two. This trouble was overcome through the understanding of Christian Science.

I have received countless blessings, and my family also, and am happy to know that God, who was previously so little understood by me, I now realize is ever present. Through the study of the Bible and Science and Health this truth becomes ever clearer to me. Words are not sufficient to express my gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, who showed us this way.
