For a period of seventeen years I have relied upon divine aid, as revealed in Christian Science, for my healing and consolation. Again and again has it carried me safely through, whereas before, I had relied on material remedies. Torturing fear has been put to rout; errors causing pain, discontent, and anxiety have been silenced; and many hard questions have been answered through searching for the Christ, Truth, that makes us free. For many years I questioned mortals for answers to make plain to me what I wished to know. Finally, it came to me that the promise in the first chapter of James, verse five, was my solution; and seeking to demonstrate man's at-one-ment with divine Principle, I go forward, daily praying, Speak, Lord, I await Thy message. Thus am I sustained and comforted. I shall always have a deep sense of gratitude for the spiritual healing, uplift, and teachings of Christian Science.
