After fifteen years of sickness, when all other remedies had failed and there was no help but God, I turned to Christian Science; and it has met my every need for eleven years. Chronic constipation has been entirely healed; nervous prostration has been destroyed; also many other difficulties—both physical and mental—have been overcome by the reading and study of the Lesson-Sermons, the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and the other writings of our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

During the war my two sons were in service in France, and I was sustained by knowing the truth. The need of working in Science for the protection of my sons gave me daily opportunities to prove my understanding of the power and law of God. Both sons served every day, and returned safely; for this I am more than grateful.

In my family I have had many healings. Severe burns were healed in a few days. Leakage of the heart, blood poisoning, appendicitis, and facial paralysis were each healed in one treatment. I am very grateful for class instruction, and to those friends who have helped me along the way. It is also a great joy to help others with the small spiritual understanding I have gained by the study of Christian Science.
