It is many years since Christian Science came to me, and it would be a long story to tell of all the benefits I have received from it. I was healed of a bronchial affection which was treated by some of the best physicians both north and south, and one of them told me I could never live north again as the winters would be too severe for me. After I had spent two winters, at different times, in the south and had taken every remedy I could hear of that might help me, Christian Science was brought to my notice. Since then it has been my only physician. My healing was accomplished slowly and there were many night vigils, as well as day, in which "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy was my only companion. Its teachings always met my need, and my complete healing came without my making any permanent change of residence. I learned that climate had no effect on me, as I have since lived in climates supposed to be hard on those with any affection of the throat, without any inconvenience to myself.

In the years that have passed since I first knew of Christian Science, I have seen many curable and so-called incurable diseases healed and can truly affirm that Christian Science does heal the sick. Words can never express the gratitude I feel to God and our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the wonderful work she has done for all mankind. My daily prayer is for more wisdom and love and a fuller understanding of infinite Mind.
