Christian Science found me at a time of darkness, sorrow, and despair. I turned to it as a last resource, and a brighter day came through the faithful help of a practitioner, proving that God is a very present help in trouble. For ten years I had been under the constant care of physicians for gastric ulceration of the stomach, and they did all they could for me. A severe operation was undergone, and after a long period I was still in a state of semi-invalidism, never free from pain, never without medicines, and subsisting mostly on milk and milk foods. Now I enjoy all kinds of food, and am free from pain, and for this healing I am truly thankful to God and grateful to Mrs. Eddy, and to all who have helped me out of darkness into light.—(Mrs.)Louise Commons, Gateshead, Durham, England.
