With a deep sense of gratitude I give the following testimony. My son, when seven years old, became seriously ill with inflammatory rheumatism. I immediately telephoned to a distant Christian Science practitioner for help, but also called a physician, in order that the case might be diagnosed, as I feared he might have some other serious sickness. The physician stated that it was the above-mentioned sickness, and prescribed some medicine, which the child did not take. Improvement was already noticeable the next day. I thanked the physician for his trouble and told him the reason for not giving the boy the medicine. Thereupon he earnestly urged me to give it to the child, as the sickness would surely affect other parts of the body if this were not done. The medicine was, of course, put aside. The boy improved rapidly and was bright and happy the next day. He has been attending school right along.

This proof of the omnipresence of divine Love was such a wonderful experience to me that I desire only to give praise and thanks. It has greatly helped me on the straight and narrow path to understanding. I also wish to express heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Eddy and all those who, through their knowledge and love, are always so willing to help, no matter when one may ask for assistance. I cannot imagine how I could live without Christian Science now; it is indeed a treasure which neither moth nor rust can corrupt, and I am grateful for it every day and every hour.
