I am deeply grateful for the blessings Christian Science...
I am deeply grateful for the blessings Christian Science has brought into my experience. When I first heard of it I was held down by a sense of lack and limitation and was constantly thinking about cheaper rent and cheaper ways of living, but Christian Science has opened up to me a new life which includes all good. During this year I, like many other people, have had to keep home and children provided for through strikes and many other difficulties which would argue for the power of poverty and to human sense result in poverty, because for the last eight weeks all our usual channels of supply have been cut off. But after working the problem out in Christian Science and relying upon God for my daily needs, each mealtime has seen the table filled and each bill has been duly paid as it came along. I have also been healed of many illnesses, including bowel trouble and abnormal conditions at childbirth. Three years ago my boy, who had had a skin trouble for five years, was soon healed by Christian Science treatment, and he has had no return of the trouble.
I thank God for Christ Jesus, who brought this truth to mankind, also for Mrs. Eddy, who revealed it to this age, and I pray that I may grow in the understanding of infinite good and so glorify God in my daily life.
(Mrs.) Hilda M. Harrison, Conisbro, England.
