It is with a heart full of gratitude that I try to tell of some of the things Christian Science has done for me. For a number of years I tried different doctors and their remedies, besides every patent medicine I would see advertised. I also wore an electric belt. All of this brought only temporary relief. At this time, which was more than twenty years ago, I heard of Christian Science. I took treatment from a practitioner and was healed. My healing was rather slow but it was permanent. I was healed of a very bad case of stomach trouble, constipation, bunions and corns on my feet which were so painful I could hardly wear my shoes, and also of very great sorrow.
I rejoice greatly to know that I have been brought into a fuller understanding of the allness of God. I am certainly very grateful to all the dear Scientists who have helped me to know the truth about God and man. I have learned to love more and am still learning. I thank God that I can read and understand that He is my Life and health and strength. I am most grateful to Mrs. Eddy for showing us how to help ourselves and others, in spite of the opposition she had to contend with. I love all the literature and could not get along without it.
(Mrs.) Clara Ward, Ft. Smith, Ark.
