Love, free us from the taint of earth,
And from its mortal spell;
Help us Thy will to understand,
To find Thy blessings near at hand,
And seek true wisdom well.

Love, give us of Thy precious store,
Truth's crystal stream reveal,
May prayer and watching lift us high,
The ear unstop, unseal the eye,
Till we behold the real.

The heart that seeketh, it shall find,—
This may we hourly prove.
Oh, may we prove it o'er and o'er,
And seek that Love which evermore
Reflected is in love.
