For the many blessings received through the study of Christian Science I wish to express my deep gratitude. Four years ago, when in difficult circumstances and suffering from physical ills, mental depression, and rebellion against what seemed to me unjust conditions, I endeavored to find out something about Christian Science.

One of the physical troubles was an abnormal growth, which I greatly feared was incurable. Having heard that Christian Science was supposed to heal, I wished to know if there was any possible help for me. I attended some of the services and procured the loan of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. For years I had unsuccessfully sought to reconcile reason and revelation; but the logic of Science and Health was absolute, and I received its teaching with astonishment and gratitude. I read the book eagerly and earnestly, and when I had finished and once more began to look for my physical ailments I found that most of them had entirely left me. A few weeks later the troublesome growth disappeared. Through this first reading of the textbook I was also healed of a restless nervousness, frequent attacks of exhaustion, and other physical ailments. None of these bodily ills have ever returned. Since that time I have had many demonstrations over the sense of lack, and have begun to learn that God is the source of supply.
