"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." For all the good gifts of a loving Father-Mother God I am truly grateful, but the greatest of all gifts is the gift of Christian Science. To our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I owe a deep debt of gratitude. For nearly three years I have found divine Principle an unfailing source of strength. Through the application of Christian Science to my daily life seemingly hard tasks have become light and sorrow has been turned into joy. Slavery to glasses was overcome as I learned through the daily reading of the Lesson-Sermon that sight is spiritual, and for two years I have felt no need of them. Many physical ills have been met and conquered, and a hasty temper, long indulged, has left me. Even the cloudy days are full of sunshine now, for to know God and man, His idea, aright, is a constant cause of thanksgiving.
