For nineteen years I have been expressing my gratitude to God and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for healing of mind and body. When Christian Science was first presented to me I was in a terrible condition, having been a sufferer for eight years and under medical care almost constantly. When "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy was placed in my hands and I commenced to study it, I saw the need of knowing or understanding God before I could understand man and the universe. I began at once to grasp the truth and to apply it in my daily living, with the result that after two months I found myself in perfect physical health. The mental healing, the overcoming of ignorance and all its consequences, is still going on and I rejoice in this growth. In these ninteen years of progress I have only had to call for help from other Scientists three times. Surely "God is good to Israel."
