A wonderfully quick healing was experienced by me through Christian Science a few years ago. While at the main railroad station I slipped, injuring my left foot so that I was unable to stand upon it and suffered intense pain. Soon I lost consciousness. Shortly after I came to, I was able to go home in a car, supporting myself on my umbrella. The foot was blue and very much swollen, and that night my suffering was terrible. The next day I was fully resigned to my fate. In the evening, however, when my sister, who is also interested in Christian Science, came home, I requested her to go to a practitioner and ask for help. When she returned and joyfully exclaimed, "All will be well," I took courage and began to study the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Scarcely a quarter of an hour later I felt like another person, and with the assistance of a cane was able to walk across the room. By the next evening the pain had entirely vanished, and I was able to walk as usual.

I am unspeakably thankful for this wonderful proof of the power of Truth, and grateful to our dear Leader, who through her clear understanding and her great work brought to humanity so many blessings. It is my endeavor to gain constantly in the knowledge of this beautiful teaching.
